MEet The Lighting Designer
Christina J. Martin is a lighting designer currently based in Knoxville, Tennessee. She works full time as a Lighting Designer for Visual Terrain working on projects for themed entertainment, architecture and the arts. She is always looking for outside opportunities.
Her love for the arts started at a young age where she began as a performer and singer. Classically trained in opera, Christina chose to move into the realm of musical theatre. From here, she found her true passion and the ultimate culmination of being able to put her heart and soul onstage through lighting. She is known for her excellent musical timing and her ability to create lighting that becomes its own character. She is also known for her ability to express the inner emotions of the characters through her designs and strives every day to create that kind of excellence. She believes that every show should be the best show that it can be and dedicates herself to every project, no matter how big or small. Her ability to help cultivate a collaborative environment and her love for music and emotion create immersive experiences for audiences of all ages to enjoy.
